The fiberglass constructed tanks of the pool sand filter showcase the latest technology in filter construction. The fiberglass vessels contain an inner shell of polyester resin wound with a sturdy fiberglass filament, creating a seamless one-piece design. Featuring plumbing on the oversized backwash valve and filter internals, they require less energy than any other media filters to operate. The innovative lateral design provides effective coverage of the filter bed and balanced water flow, making it ideal for energy efficient pumps. The “S" series is a range of bobbin wound fiberglass swimming pool filters. These pool filters are made to be non-corrosive and UV resistant. This means the filter can withstand outdoor conditions, if required, and still have a long working life. In addition, as this pool sand filter is non-corrosive you can use it with a range of water disinfection options such as salt or UV chlorination.
This fiberglass sand filter has a pressure rating of 36psi (2.5 bar) and a max operating temperature of 43°C. It also has a top mount configuration which allows for easy maintenance and installation. This pool filter features a 6-way multiport valve which has a connection size of 1.5 inches or 50mm.

The lateral assembly gives the complete coverage of the filter bed, utalizing more area of the filter media for the filtering process.
